Dexter 81103 reverse lock out solenoid for brake actuators. Unlike drum brakes, disc brakes generate full braking power in reverse. If your actuator does not have a reverse lockout lever or switch, a reverse lockout solenoid should be installed at the actuator before installing disc brakes. This 12 volt solenoid valve connects to tow vehicles’ back up light circuit for automatic brake lockout. The unit can be wired independently or adapted to trailer wire harness with a 5-flat plug.
