The lens itself is a thick automotive-grade polycarbonate, made to take a beating on the trail. And the best part? Our single-color rock light kit includes four amber and four red lenses, allowing you to change the color of your rock lights for maximum versatility.
Dual Power Levels:
The Stage Series Rock Light uses a simple 3-wire system, allowing you to select a low-power or high-power mode. At 3 watts of output, the low-power mode is actually on-par with the max output of most generic rock lights! If you want to light up a campsite and you don’t need all 800 lumens, the low-power mode is a great way to conserve battery power. This 3-wire setup also provides much more functionality on custom off-road builds. By tying the low and high power wires into your factory harness, you can use them as a dual-function running/brake light, or running/turn signal, all in one simple package.
Mount it Your Way:
Our Rock Light Kit can be mounted using the center bolt mounting point that is neatly hidden underneath the lens and comes standard, or you can select the magnet mount option. Our magnet mounts feature an overmolded design that keeps your rock light secure using the integrated mounting hole. With N42 magnets providing an approximate pull/holding force of 35lbs, you can rest assured that the magnet won’t go anywhere!
Simple Connections:
For maximum convenience, these lights include a waterproof M8 barrel-style connector with a 10-inch lead. This provides a secure, waterproof connection and is compatible with the included plug-and-play harnesses. At only 8mmin diameter, it’s still easy to route the wires to where you need them.

Diode Dynamics Stage Series Single-Color Rock Light Installer Magnet Mount Kit (4-pack) (DD7739) How To Mount Your Rock Light:
Step 1 – Identify Mounting LocationIdentify the location where you would like to mount your Stage Series Rock Lights.Step 2 – Prepare Rock Light for MountingRemove the outer lens from your rock light, then remove the center rubber dust seal.Step 3 – Drill Mounting HoleTo mount the rock light using the center hole option, drill a hole using a 7/32″ or 15/64″ bit in your desired location.Step 4 – Drill Wire HoleIf you would like to hide the wiring, line up the light over the hole you just drilled and drill an additional 3/8″ hole in the appropriate location to run the wire through your mounting surface. Otherwise, pull the wiring to the side.Step 5 – Mount Rock LightUse the included nut, bolt, and washers to mount the light as shown in the diagram below.Step 6 – Mount with Zip Ties (Optional)You may alternatively use zip ties for mounting the rock light to any available attachment point, with integrated tabs on each side of the light.Step 7 – Reassemble Rock LightReinstall the rubber dust seal and clip the lens into position.Wiring InstructionsStep 8 – Route Switch WiringDetermine a suitable location to mount the switch, near the battery or main power terminal. Route the switch wiring to that location.Step 9 – Connect to BatteryConnect the red power input wire to the positive battery/power terminal. Connect the black ground wire to the negative battery terminal or a factory grounding point.Step 10 – Select Switch LocationDetermine a suitable location to mount the switch in the cabin of the vehicle.Route the switch wiring to that location. This may require going through the vehicle firewall. We recommend following the path of the factory wiring harness, and unplugging the switch while routing the wires.Step 11 – Mount the SwitchDrill a 3/4″ hole and mount the switch. Reconnect wires to switch.NOTE: The gold spade on the switch should be connected to the black (ground) wire.Step 12 – Route the Extension WiresIdentify the extension and splitter wires (included with 8-pack kits) included in your kit. Depending on the kit you ordered, you will have 3M and 5M extension wires. Route the extension wires to each LED, avoiding any moving parts or direct contact with heat sources. Following the factory wire loom is the best practice.See the diagrams below for the most common way to wire the kit.
