The Free Spirit Recreation 180° Awning V2 from Nomadic Supply Company® delivers 90 square feet of freestanding waterproof coverage along the full side of your vehicle without blocking rear hatch access — the right call for SUVs, hatchbacks, and any build where the rear door needs to stay in play. It deploys in under a minute and mounts on either side.
Free Spirit Recreation 180° Aluminum Vehicle Side Awning V2 Features:
- Rear Hatch Stays Clear. The 180° arc covers the full vehicle side without wrapping the rear — deploy from the back, access your tent, grab gear, and cook under shade without moving the awning.
- 90 Square Feet of Coverage. One of the largest freestanding side-only awning footprints available, covering a full cooking and lounging area in one setup.
- Freestanding — No Ground Poles Required. Rigid arm construction supports the entire canopy without staking. Guy lines and stakes are included for wind or awning wall use.
- 600D Oxford Ripstop Canopy. Waterproof-coated fabric handles rain, heavy dew, and UV exposure across seasons.
- Integrated Dimmable LED Lighting. USB-powered LED strips run along the awning arms — no separate lighting system required for after-dark camp setup.
- Driver or Passenger Side Mounting. Compatible with both sides of the vehicle — confirm your preferred side before ordering.
- Deploys in Under a Minute. Swing, lock, done — no steps to memorize and no poles to set.
