How to Measure the Lippert Solid Step 4.0:
To make sure that the correct size of Lippert Solid Step 4.0 is installed, follow these measurement instructions before installation.NOTE: Unit should be leveled on level ground to make sure measurements are as accurate as possible. Measure the height of the door threshold from the inside of the unit (Fig. 1B). If the threshold height is NOT between 5/8” and 3/4”, the door may not close properly, and modifications may need to be made. At its base, measure the width of the door frame (Fig. 1A) and round up to the nearest inch (i.e. 26”, 28”, 30” etc.) This number should correspond to the Lippert Solid Step 4.0 purchased.Lippert Solid Step 4.0 Premium RV & Travel Trailer Steps Features:

Easily installs into existing door hardware and threshold. Mounting fasteners are included.Two safety latches on either side of SolidStep securely locks it to the RV entry door frame.Convenient handle makes it easy to disengage the safety latches.Only one hand needed to operate the handle.While holding the handle, release the SolidStep from the doorjamb.
