Mercury Marine (MerCruiser) 862975A1 Centa CF-DS-22 damper plate (torsional flex coupling). For use with many GM/Chevrolet 5.7L, 6.2L, 7.4L, and 8.2L Mercury marine gas engines that have a flywheel with 3/8″-16 threaded bolt holes.
Warning: Not for metric-thread flywheels.
This damper is similar to the Crusader R140018, but has slightly different dimensions and has a Mercury-specific clutch built into it to reduce vibration.
Compatible with many ZF, Hurth, and Velvet Drive transmissions. Please match the Mercury part number 862975A1 to your original to assure fitment. You can use Mercury’s official Parts Express website to look up part numbers with your engine serial number if you are unsure.
