Boat part number 1118557 is a new vented loop fitting from Rule, part number 260.
Rule Vented Loops are for use in bilge pump installations to prevent siphoning of water back into boat from through hull. The duckbill one-way valve system that’s incorporated in the top of the loop allows air to enter the line when not in use, yet effectively seals as water passes through.
This fitting is constructed out of black plastic. It measures approximately 2 3/4″ H x 3 3/4″ W overall. There are (2) 3/4″ Dia. barbed hose fittings and a one-way duckbill valve.
